New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation

The mission of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation is to advance the cultural and scientific programs and purposes of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. The Foundation’s objectives are to receive, raise and administer funds for the benefit of the Museum and to provide the Museum with a widespread base of community support.

International Space Hall of Fame Foundation

The International Space Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc., through volunteer and financial programs, is committed to involvement with and the enhancement of the New Mexico Museum of Space History educational and scientific programs.

New Mexico Library Foundation

The non-profit New Mexico Library Foundation supports libraries in New Mexico by allocating funds to libraries of all types and to non-profit organizations that directly benefit libraries. Past projects have supported ideas such as book fairs, summer reading activities, and bilingual projects.

National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation

The National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, is dedicated to raising the funds necessary to support the Center's programming needs, complete the construction of the Center's campus, and build a legacy for future generations.

Museum of New Mexico Foundation

The mission of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation is to support the Museum of New Mexico system through fund development for exhibitions and education programs, financial management and advocacy.

International Folk Art Foundation

Broadens the study of folk art from around the world in order to promote a better understanding of all cultures by providing financial assistance primarily to the Museum of International Folk Art.

Cultural Collaborative

The members of the Cultural Collaborative work together to strengthen the bonds between organizations, attract new audiences, and draw attention to the importance of the arts in New Mexico.

New Mexico Highlands University Media Arts

In 2005, DCA established an academic and internship partnership with the Department of Media Arts & Technology at NMHU to prepare media arts majors for careers as multimedia specialists in New Mexico’s cultural institutions and creative economy. Now called the Center for Cultural Technology, the program has grown to include a Museum Classroom at the Museum of Natural History and Science, a Community Technology (makerspace) initiative, and the CT Development Lab, which provides opportunities for university faculty and students, museum professionals, and other partners to work together on technology solutions for cultural institutions.

The IFAA mission is to celebrate and preserve living folk art traditions and create economic opportunities for and with folk artists worldwide. IFAA envisions a world that values the humanity of the handmade, honors timeless cultural traditions, and embraces dignified livelihoods for folk artists across the globe.
