MIAC Presents the Annual Native Treasures Collectors Sale
August 16th, 2019
(Santa Fe, New Mexico) – The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC) presents the annual Native Treasures Collectors’ Sale on October 12 and 13, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The sale, comprised of generations of Native Arts from private collectors, will be held in the museum’s Meem Auditorium, and benefits the museum through shared profits. Mediums include pottery, jewelry, textiles/weavings, paintings, baskets, and sculptures.
Consignors bring their pieces from their private collections, culminating in a diverse mix of items from older generations to current works. The annual Native Treasures Collectors’ Sale provides New Mexican residents the opportunity to either add to their own collection or begin one with a brand new piece. The event will run both days for free but will offer an early bird admission at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday for $25.00.
Those interested in consigning works, please find information on MIAC’s website, www.indianartsandculture.org/CS2019.
