March 19th, 2019

(Albuquerque, New Mexico) -- Summer is just around the corner. Do you have a plan to keep your children busy and engaged this summer? When the kids are off school keep the learning going by signing them up for one of the week-long Young Explorers Summer Camps at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Albuquerque. The camps start June 16 and run through August 9, 2019. All camps are for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th.

"This is the 35th year that the museum has offered well-crafted Summer Camp modules that each offer something engaging and educational,” said Museum Executive Director Margie Marino. “This year we have Brain Teaser classes — which  support our traveling exhibition  Brain: The Inside Story which runs through June 23. The kids can take a class with topics that range from dinosaurs to space.“

Camps offered for grades K-5th

Aftercare available every day from 4-5 p.m. for $10/day

Kindergarteners must have experience in full-day classes before attending.

Price per camp (per week): $300.00 (Members: $270.00)

The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science reserves the right to cancel camps that do not reach a minimum of six participants. A full refund will be given if a camp is canceled for this reason.
