September 28 Lecture at the New Mexico State Library: The Alamo as Historical Fiction

(Santa Fe, New Mexico) -- Santa Fe Author Thomas D. Clagett will discuss writing his new book Line of Glory: A Novel of the Alamo as historical fiction. Line of Glory is about the final 13 hours at the Alamo. Tom will talk about the sources he used, and the role of fact and conjecture in the writing process.
The lecture is free and open to the public. It will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the New Mexico State Library, Garrey Carruthers Building, 1209 Camino Carlos Rey, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87507.
Line of Glory: A Novel of the Alamo was released in April 2018, and has received excellent reviews.

Thomas D. Clagett’s previous novels include West of Penance and The Pursuit of Murieta. West of Penance, set in New Mexico, won the 2017 Will Rogers Medallion Award for inspirational fiction, and the 2016 New Mexico-Arizona Book Award for historical fiction.
